Today was a major fumble day for me. I pride myself on being conscientious but today made it obvious that I am a bit off kilter. I signed up to take a parent education class for piano and have spent the last month trying to line up a sitter for my girls so I can attend said class on Wednesday. I even responded to an email from the instructor who confirmed the day and time as Tuesday at 10am saying, "I'll be there!" Then I checked my email after a playdate today to find out that I was a no show! Of course I spent the next ten minutes scouring my emails to try and find evidence that the mistake had not been mine but to no avail. Every correspondence we had mentioned the class being on Tuesday but for some reason I put it on my calendar for Wednesdays. I feel like I've been zapped with a stun gun. It didn't help either that the day started off with my youngest daughter leaving pen marks on our piano teacher's newly cleaned sofa.
ACK! I say.
Hopefully some sleep will help.
